At this wild new restaurant, owner Cary Goronkin serves up Mediterranean-based dishes with a casual twist. Made fresh daily on the premises, the menu features 100 from-scratch items.
Encouraging guests to “eat better, feel healthier and make a connection to the natural world,” Pita Jungle has a menu that caters to the members of the health-conscious Newport Beach community. Vegetarians, vegans and those with gluten-free needs will all find something to enjoy, as will meat-loving carnivores interested in Pita Jungle’s beef gyro or Philly cheesesteak pita. “We believe there is an emerging trend in the restaurant business—accessible healthy cuisine,” Cary explains, emphasizing the restaurant’s focus on helping its patrons discover the art of healthful eating.
With a casual sit-down ambiance and patio seating, a custom soundtrack and a daily happy hour featuring tapas and drink specials from the full bar, guests can relax and indulge in some not-to-miss menu items, including the Mediterranean roasted chicken shawarma pita wrap, mahi mahi with pita chips and glazed chicken lavosh pizza. Pita Jungle has a generous offering of starters, salads, pitas, burgers, pizzas and desserts, creatively assembled with the freshest ingredients for a healthy dining adventure.
